Jacob Phillips ('20) to NWF State!

The Scorpions would like to congratulate 2020 LHP Jacob Phillips (North Marion HS) on his commitment to attend Junior College powerhouse Northwest Florida State!  Jacob is an ultra projectable LHP who runs his fastball routinely into the upper 80s with feel for an advanced changeup.  Jacob has pitched numerous big games while a Scorpion, anchoring the 2020 Select Golinski rotation last summer.  Jacob also gave the Scorpions Founders Club three shutout innings against the MLB Breakthrough Series team in the Elite 8 in Jupiter this fall.  Congrats to Jacob and the Phillips family on his commitment!
