Connor Whitaker commits to Florida State

The Scorpions Baseball Club would like to congratulate 2021 RHP Connor Whitaker (Sarasota HS) on his commitment to attend Florida State University!  Connor burst onto the scene his freshman year and pitched the Sarasota Sailors to the State Final 4, winning three consecutive playoff games, including knocking off perennial power Plant HS (Tampa).  Connor features outstanding command of a upper 80s fastball combined with feel for a very good breaking ball.  Congrats to Connor and the Whitaker family on his commitment!
